1. Overview

Self-Conquest is the trade name and developmental approach of Karina Carlos Arreguín, not a separate legal entity. This website presents the Self-Conquest approach and provides access to selected resources and client experiences. Current information and applications for private work are presented through karinacarlos.com.

Reading this website or submitting an inquiry does not, by itself, create a client relationship, guarantee acceptance or establish the complete terms of a paid engagement. Scope, fees, currency, timing, deliverables, cancellations and other service-specific conditions are communicated before an engagement is agreed.

2. Educational and Coaching Services

Self-Conquest provides conceptual resources and developmental work concerning discernment, coherence, executive communication, leadership presence, judgment and communication under pressure. The specific scope of any service is established separately.

The website and services do not constitute medical or psychological care, psychotherapy, financial advice, individualized legal advice, compliance certification or professional or institutional authorization. Where specialized support is required, an appropriately qualified professional should be consulted.

Human Authority is a developing framework. External references may support bounded aspects of the work; they do not, by themselves, establish scientific validation of the complete framework. Testimonials describe individual experiences and do not guarantee future results.

3. Eligibility

Private services, client accounts and programs are available exclusively to adults aged 18 or older who have legal capacity to enter into the relevant agreement. Public educational content may be accessed without creating a service relationship.

4. Intellectual Property

Original texts, audiovisual works, graphics, assessments, worksheets, learning resources and other protectable expressions published or provided by Self-Conquest remain the property of their identified rights holder unless otherwise stated.

Materials may be used personally for their intended learning purpose. They may not be sold, republished, presented as another person's work, distributed as a substitute program or used commercially without permission. These Terms do not claim ownership over unprotectable ideas, client-owned information, third-party materials, lawful quotation or uses permitted by applicable law. Ownership and permitted use of bespoke deliverables may be defined in the relevant service agreement.

  1. Responsibility and results

Each person remains responsible for decisions within their own role, authority and circumstances. Outcomes depend on the individual, context and other factors. These boundaries do not exclude the applicable obligations of Karina Carlos Arreguín or any non-waivable rights of users or clients.

Nothing on this website authorizes a visitor to make decisions for another person, represent that they hold a professional credential, or claim institutional endorsement.

  1. Client access and acceptable use

Restricted resources and accounts are intended for the authorized client. Users must not share access credentials, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access or use the site to submit unlawful, harmful or unnecessarily sensitive information.

Access may be limited where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, legal obligations or the end of the applicable service, subject to any agreed access terms and mandatory rights.

  1. Privacy and third-party services

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Notice. The website may rely on or link to third-party services. Each provider is responsible for its own terms, availability and privacy practices. A link does not constitute endorsement of every statement or practice of the external provider.

  1. Payments, cancellations and refunds

Any payment, rescheduling, cancellation and refund conditions that apply to a paid service must be disclosed through the relevant offer, booking route or written agreement. The current Refund Policy explains the public-site position and how to request review of a payment issue. Nothing in these documents excludes rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

  1. External platforms

If a service is booked or paid through Preply or another external platform, that platform's applicable terms also govern its own booking and payment functions. Each provider remains responsible for its own terms, availability and privacy practices. Mandatory rights are not waived by these Terms.

10. Modifications

These Terms may be updated prospectively to reflect changes in the website, services or applicable requirements. Material changes will be identified by an updated date. Changes to public website terms do not automatically rewrite a separately accepted service agreement or create retroactive permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Mexico. Competent courts in Jalisco may have jurisdiction where legally appropriate, without excluding mandatory protections or another forum required by applicable law.
